Welcome to Tern Reviews
And things can be expensive – particularly these days we need to be sure that we are getting the most out of every purchase.
We often have a good idea of what it is we want – something seen in a magazine, on TV, or from a friend – but how can we be sure that we are making the right choice?
- what exactly does your chosen model have to offer compared to the alternatives?
- is there perhaps another model in the range that would suit you better?
- are you getting a good deal in terms of price and all-important customer service?
Tern Reviews aims to help you with the task of sorting through all this information.
What we do
We concentrate on areas that we are familiar with – bikes, gardening and kitchen equipment for example – and select some of the most popular products that you might be looking for. We then spend time researching, sifting and analysing the features, advantages and disadvantages of each of the chosen products.
We also research the experiences of actual purchasers of any products that we don’t personally use ourselves – and if they are not altogether positive, we’ll tell you!
All this is pulled together to help you to be as sure as you can be that you are getting the best value, that the choice you have made is the right one.
And if it turns out that you are not sure, then we can probably help you to find a great alternative.
It’s your hard-earned money after all – let us help you to spend it wisely
For those who just want to get out on the road. Whether it’s commuting to work, keeping fit, or just enjoying the countryside at the weekend or on summer evenings, we concentrate on those bikes that should suit you best.
Hybrid bikes – flat handlebars, sleek frames and sensible tyres – are our speciality. Great for all the above, they combine the best of all worlds for comfortable, fast riding and exploring.
There are a lot on the market though, and it’s important to choose a bike that will take you best where you want to go.
If money was no object, we all know that we could fill our kitchens with enough appliances, gadgets and tools to pose a challenge to the National Grid, never mind finding storage space and uses for them all…
But there’s no doubt that microwaves, mixers and processors can be invaluable savers of time and effort. Added to that, once you’ve tasted fresh bread and espresso made at home, breadmakers and coffee machines can easily move into the ‘essential’ category.
The sort of work that a garden demands of us means that we need help just to keep on top of the maintenance – and to do that we all need efficient, effective tools that will do what they promise and last more than a season…
For lawn mowing, hedge trimming or cultivating there is a wealth of choice available and decisions to be made – which brand, petrol or electric, rotary or cylinder etc.
